Soft axles are flexible LEGO® Technic hoses with axle-shaped ends. They slot into an axle hole like a normal axle, but bend where a rigid axle cannot.

About Soft Axles
Their length is given in studs (L), the same way as Technic axles. Because they flex, they are ideal for curved lines on bodywork, rails, antennas and cable runs. You fix both ends in an axle hole and the hose follows a natural curve in between.
