About LEGO City minifigures
LEGO City started in 2005 as the successor of the classic Town theme, and it has been one of LEGO's largest themes ever since. Every year brings new police stations, fire trucks, trains, airports and building sites, and with them a new crew of everyday heroes. That makes City the place to look for figures that fit almost any scene: a shopkeeper for your modular street, a mechanic for the garage or a family for the park.
The strength of City figures is their variety. Uniforms change with every wave, so a police officer from 2010 looks different from one of today, with new jacket prints, caps and helmets. Many figures come with work gear like a walkie-talkie, a hose or a wrench, which makes a scene feel busy and believable.
