Modified tiles are smooth LEGO® tiles with something extra: a clip, a grille, studs on the edge or an unusual shape. Small parts that solve a lot of building puzzles.

About Modified Tiles

A modified tile keeps the flat top of a normal tile but adds a feature or a different outline. Grille tiles give texture to vents and radiators, clip tiles hold bars, flags and tools, and triangular or facet tiles cover odd angles. Inverted tiles do the opposite and put the smooth side underneath.
