About Paper Parts
Not every part of a LEGO set is made of hard plastic. Some sets include flat paper or cardboard pieces that are part of the build or the play, for example as a ramp or a backdrop. They have their own item number, usually with the set number they belong to. Paper wears faster than plastic, so condition matters more here.
- Printed paper or cardboard elements from sets
- Usually linked to one specific set number
- Separate from instructions and boxes, which have their own catalog types
- Flat pieces that are part of the build or play
Finding the right part
- Search by part number, the set number is often in the name
- Use the parts finder to see which parts belong to a set
- Check the condition: new or used
