16 productsLEGO® Technic gears are the toothed building blocks behind every working transmission. Whether you are transferring drive from a motor, changing speed and torque through a gear train, or splitting power across an axle, this collection brings together the spur, bevel, worm and clutch gears that make Technic mechanisms move. Each part is grounded in real Technic geometry so it meshes cleanly with axles, pins and beams.
The backbone of any gear train is the classic spur gear range, and you will find the full ladder here: the 8 tooth 3647, the 16 tooth 4019 and reinforced 94925, the 24 tooth 3648, and the large 40 tooth 3649 for high reduction ratios. For changing the direction of drive there are bevel gears such as the 12 tooth 6589 and 20 tooth 32198, plus the double bevel family used in modern sets: 12 tooth 32270 and 20 tooth 32269. Need a worm drive for slow, self-locking reduction? Reach for the worm screw 4716 or the long type II 32905. Clutch gears like the 16 tooth 6542 and 24 tooth 60c01 protect your build by slipping under overload, and differentials such as the 24-16 tooth 6573 and 28 tooth bevel 62821b split power between two output axles. Tooth count is the key buying criterion: it sets your gear ratio, so match driver and driven gears to get the speed and torque your mechanism needs.
Across the range you can pick the exact variant your build calls for: spur gears for direct power transfer, bevel and double bevel gears for right-angle drive, worm gears for high reduction, clutch gears for overload protection, and gear racks like the 3743 and 18942 for converting rotation into linear travel. Pair these gears with the right shafts from our Technic axles collection, or build out the supporting frame with Technic liftarms and Technic connectors. Everything sits under the wider LEGO Technic category if you want to browse the full system.
Most builders arrive here knowing exactly what they need, so we have kept it easy to shop by tooth count or by part number. Search 8t, 16t, 24t or 40t to scan a size at a time, or type a number like 3649 or 6573 straight in to land on the part you already spec'd for your MOC. If you cannot find a specific gear, check the full parts catalogue or get in touch and we will help you source it.
Every part is inspected before listing. A mix of new factory-sealed pieces and quality-checked used parts. Same-day dispatch on orders placed before 16:00.
