About LEGO Minecraft minifigures
LEGO Minecraft started in 2012 with small micro-world sets and grew into a full theme of buildable biomes, houses, mines and caves. The figures look different from most minifigures: they have the square, pixelated heads of the game, often moulded as one block, so a creeper or a zombie is instantly recognisable on the shelf.
Steve and Alex are the heroes you play as, and they come in many outfits, from a plain shirt to full diamond armour. Around them you find villagers and illagers, skeletons, zombies, creepers, Endermen and many animals. Because the mobs fit any build, they are among the most popular figures to add to a scene you built yourself. A handful of zombies or skeletons turns a simple house into a night you have to survive.
